Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they realized there was no going back. Ashley was 17 years old and was never in any kind of relationship, and so took everything very slow. They fell in love with each other at first glance. Andrew asked God during New Year's Day just as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew asked God to grant him one last blessing for the year to see Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley really wanted to do the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme because it symbolized Andrew as well as her. Their wedding day consisted of all their loves. Ashley was born on 40 acres that were selected as their venue. Ashley and Andrew had played, explored, and walked the entire trail that led to the place that they exchanged "I I do" at the wedding of Ashley. Andrew and Ashley had also walked this area several times since they started dating. Being that the wedding was essentially homemade, personalization played an integral part. Ashley designed and painted some of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's dad made the seating and ceremony arch. Ashley claims that we might never have the amazing wedding I had imagined if we hadn't had Anna's flower design. Absolutely stunning.
