Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her most well-known role was the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the character of Jerrica Jem in the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her speech was the valedictory of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to allow her in for an additional entry after she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in the television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar condition in an interview that she provided to NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the top American young actors.
